Welcome to Vente Pain Relief Clinic! We are Downtown Toronto’s premier deep tissue Massage and fascial therapy clinic.

Our specialty is treating chronic pain stemming from tight muscles and fascia.

Thank you for visiting!

What can deep tissue massage do for you?

Deep tissue massage is an aggressive form of massage. It can free up tight stubborn muscles. “Lighter” massage can be a choice but if the issue is chronic, aggressive work is needed. Deep tissue massage can also access deeper layers of soft-tissue, that can be problematic.

Who generally chooses deep tissue massage?

Typically, those that have had chronic soft-tissue tightness for a long period. This can be weeks to months to some even years. Athletes also choose this style of treatment because of the profound effects it has on the muscles and fascia.

What can treating the fascia do for you?

The fascia is the connective tissue that lies underneath the skin. At times the fascia can become very tight causing pain and discomfort locally. The fascia when it is tight can also cause pain away from the area of tightness. When the fascia loosens, you can find the muscles become significantly looser. Hence, the reason for why the fascia is the baseline for our treatments.

What are some of the conditions you treat?

What makes the Vente style different?

We understand how difficult it can be to find deep tissue massage in Toronto. We describe our treatment style as deliberate, precise, sequenced and very, very targeted. There is a method to the madness. The treatment is specifically crafted for your particular condition. We also take the time to address structures based on how tight the area is. What this means is that it can take 15-45 minutes to relax certain structures. Time allotted is an important aspect to the treatment. There definitely is a certain level of discomfort during treatment but the benefits can outweigh the pain.

What people say about us:
  • I’ve had neck pain for two years and tried everything to feel better. I was reccommended to see Alfie and am so glad that I did! He has helped me more in two months than anyone else has in two years. The massage is painful but very effective and the results last. I reccommend anyone to book an appointment.

Alfie is professional and takes an interest in his clients. He learns what is necessary to treat whatever condition you have come in for.

He treats your concern not anything else; he doesn’t prescribe unnecessary treatments.

He gets to the root of your condition – sometimes painfully, but gives you a lot of guidance to move through to get to the other side.

I would see Alfie once or twice a week – very necessary at the time. Now weekly/bi-weekly maintenance is all that is needed; everyone is different.

His website is correct: he is accurate, precise, focussed.

  • I’ve been going to see Alfie for a couple years now. Alfie helped make clear, through his work and consultation, how my daily routines at the office and home were really having a compounded negative impact on my body. Highly recommend Alfie if you’re looking for a trustworthy, professional, and effective massage therapist.

Stop going to the chiro, physio, and a million other specialists if you have pain – do yourself a favour and COME HERE. I have had a number of injuries over the years that had left my body in chronic pain and with pronounced tightness; I went to chiropractors, massage therapists, physiotherapists, and nothing really did the trick. Vente Pain Relief did more for me in four visits (!!!) than any other professional has done for me in the past ten years. This treatment is painful (though not unbearable), but the results are *incredible*. My body is moving better than it has in a decade, my posture has improved, I’m breathing more deeply, I can walk easier and above all, my chronic pain issues have pretty much disappeared. I truly cannot say enough great things about this clinic. Stop reading reviews and go book an appointment already.

I went to see Alfie after the orthopedic doctors told me I had to quit Taekwondo due to knee damage. Not only did I have amazing results with my knee pain I went on to compete at Taekwondo Canadian Nationals winning Silver. I am so grateful for the treatment I have received and glad Alfie is part of my journey to compete for Canada at 2016 Pan Am Taekwondo Championships next week and hopefully one day compete at World Championships. He’s the best!!!!

I had been struggling with vertigo, dizziness, and headaches for nearly a year, and it was significantly impacting my day-to-day life. The tightness in my shoulders and neck from my desk job only added to my discomfort, leaving me feeling quite helpless. Thankfully, I found Alfie, who not only identified the root cause of my vertigo but also guided me through the healing process.

Alfie’s holistic approach to addressing the underlying issues behind my pain was truly remarkable. Today, I am completely symptom-free and have gained a heightened awareness of my posture, all thanks to Alfie’s expertise.

The list of symptoms I experienced that has been alleviated are as follows:
    -vertigo
    – imbalance
    – dizziness
    -ear pressure, ear ringing
    – headaches
    -neck tightness
    – tight shoulders

I highly recommend Alfie’s services to anyone experiencing similar issues. I am genuinely grateful to Alfie for helping me regain my health and well-being.
